There have been about 2.1 million prescriptions for Viagra in the U. since January 2010. In addition to Viagra, the FDA has prescribed about 2 million other ED drugs to treat erectile dysfunction.
There are currently no approved medications for treating erectile dysfunction that have not been prescribed by the FDA. However, a new study has found that ED drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction are as safe and effective as Viagra, according to the FDA.
“The FDA has not provided adequate warning labels for Viagra to consumers,” said Mark G. Miller, Ph. D., president and chief executive officer. “The agency has not provided adequate warning labels for Viagra to consumers.”
